Aftercare & rules

The bits worth reading

How do I look after a fresh tattoo?

Keep the wrap on for the first few hours, then wash gently with unscented soap and warm water and pat dry. A thin layer of aftercare balm, twice a day, for two weeks. No picking, no scratching, and let it flake off on its own.

What should I avoid while it heals?

No swimming pools, baths, saunas or gym mats for two weeks, and keep it out of direct sun. Loose clothing over the area. Once it's healed, sunscreen is the single best thing for keeping the colour sharp.

Do you take under-18s?

No. Tattooing anyone under 18 is illegal in the UK, with or without a parent's consent. Bring photo ID to your first session: passport, driving licence or PASS card.

Can you cover or fix an old tattoo?

Often, yes. Send a clear, well-lit photo with your enquiry and we'll tell you honestly whether a cover-up will work, whether it needs laser fading first, or whether a reworking would look better.

What if I need to move my session?

Let us know at least 48 hours ahead and your deposit moves with you. Inside 48 hours, or a second reschedule, and the deposit is used to cover the empty chair and drawing time.
